BrickMeasure

Privacy Policy

BrickMeasure is your jobsite tally pad — wall lengths, course counts, mortar gaps, and material estimates on your iPhone. This page explains what we may access, what stays in your private brick log, and what we never pass to lumberyards or construction-data brokers.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the BrickMeasure mobile app on the Apple App Store and to public pages hosted on this domain. It is written for builders using the app and visitors reading this page.

Information

BrickMeasure does not require your legal name, email, phone, jobsite address, contractor license, or payment card for core measuring tools.

Wall lengths, course counts, mortar gaps, and estimate notes you add remain for your in-app experience. We do not repurpose them for targeted advertising or resale.

Remote Content

When the app opens optional public material — for example a linked policy page — it may load that content from a public URL. Those pages are generic; nothing from your private brick log is sent upstream.

Photos

If you attach wall photos or tape-measure snaps, BrickMeasure may request camera or photo library access only when you choose to import. Contacts, microphone, and location stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.

Device

Counts and estimates stay in on-device storage. Diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.

Hosting

Infrastructure partners operate this policy page and any public routes on this domain. They may retain traffic logs needed for security and uptime under their own practices.

Minors

BrickMeasure is meant for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact App Store support if a minor saved data by mistake and we will help clear it where we can.

Retention & Security

Tallies you keep in BrickMeasure remain under your control on your device. Delete jobs in-app or uninstall to wipe local storage.

We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted assets. No service is perfectly secure — treat site notes like a locked tool pouch, not a public bid sheet.

Your Choices

Leave BrickMeasure whenever you choose. Revoke photo or network access in iOS Settings for a tighter offline tally pad where supported.

Updates

We may revise this policy as BrickMeasure evolves. The date above marks substantive changes. Continued use after an update accepts the new terms where law permits.

Contact

Privacy questions about BrickMeasure may be sent through the App Store support channel or the developer contact on the product page.
